Dear WDC member

It’s that time of year when your membership is due again. At £8 single, £10 joint and £5 for retired members, it’s really good value. Your club needs your support, both to hold our open and championship shows and also for the fundraising we do regularly in support of our beloved breed. We raise funds for rescue and also for health initiatives. Last year we held two Companion Dog Shows, one at our open show and one at Welsh Kennel Club, and raised substantial funds towards heart research. We have also produced clothing to raise funds for the heart stem cell research we are currently supporting. You can order these through committee member Emma Edwards (emma.dobe@btinternet.com), who can advise you of the full colour range. A few sample photos are attached. Jackets are £35, teeshirts £15, hoodies £25 and bumbags £10.

The renewal form is attached. You can pay your membership by cheque payable to Welsh Dobermann Club and sent to me (address on form) or by bank transfer to sort code 40-12-15, account number 81181084. In this case, please email me to confirm the date you paid and the amount, so that I can liaise with the Treasurer to confirm we’ve received it. Don’t forget you can’t vote at the AGM unless you pay before that date

New Membership.

Our open show this year will be held at Chepstow Leisure Centre on 27 April, judged by Emma Edwards. We also plan to hold our usual Companion Dog Show alongside and watch this space for an exciting new development too!

Our championship show will be held at Chepstow on 13 October, with Keith Allison and Alison Bradley judging.

Please continue to support your club and I look forward to receiving your payment. Don’t forget you can add a donation to rescue or health funds as well.

Best wishes
